Two Columbus Restaurants Named Best in America

Two Chinese restaurants recently got some recognition that is putting Columbus on the map.  The Chinese Restaurant News, which is endorsed by the National Restaurant Association, recently announced the top 100 chinese restaurants in America.

Chef Lee's and Hong Kong Buffett both made the cut of being on the list as the best chinese restaurants in America.  Chef Lee's has been in Columbus since 1984.  Many customers say it's the best they've every had.  "One thing is they fix the food the way I wanted and cooked like I prefer it cooked," said Customer Roland Duncan.

"It's always spotless and the employees are very hardworking," Customer Lauren Young.

Chef Lee's manager says each restaurant is judge by the quality of food and number of local awards they have received.  "We are very honored to be considered top 100 in America.  They have been honoring us each year since 2004," said Chef Lee's Manager Ed Duncan.

Chef Lee's restaurant was not the only one to make the cut.  Hong Kong Buffett made the list Too.  "We were surprised.  I know this will help us a lot," said Hong Kong Manaer Quiming Chen.

Hong Kong has been in Columbus for the two years and their customers say they have the best food.  "It's a big accomplishment especially for Columbus.  The service is really good and they are willing to get anything for you," said Customer Sgt. Gloria Gonzalez. 

So if you would like to see for yourself who's the best, you have two to choose from here in Columbus.

There were six other restaurants in georgia that made the top 100 list.  Columbus was the only city in the state with two restaurants that made the cut.
