Hunan Imperial Restaurant Donates 50% of Proceeds to American Red Cross on May 31^st.

Evans, CO (May 23, 2008) – In response to the recent earthquake tragedy in Sichuan, Chinese Restaurant News issued a national appeal to all Chinese restaurants in an effort to raise funds for the earthquake aid.  Hunan Imperial, a Chinese restaurant in Evans, Colorado was among the first to respond to this appeal. On May 31^st, Hunan Imperial will donate 50%  of their restaurant sales to the American Red Cross for the earthquake relief in China.

 “It has been so painful to watch thousands of families lose their beloved children as well a number of children who have survived the earthquake but have lost their parents,” said Jeffery Ho, Owner, Hunan Imperial. “We are so thankful to many of our patrons who also support our efforts to help the victims of this disaster.”

Beginning May 19 thru December 31, Chinese Restaurant News will be organizing fund-raising events at all participating restaurants and donating proceeds to the earthquake relief.
