(Chicago, IL May 13, 2009) -- Chinese Restaurant News (CRN) will make an official announcement of the partnership between its annual award Top 100 Chinese Restaurants in USA Awards and Healthy Dining during the National Restaurant Association (NRA) trade show in Chicago.  The NRA and CRN Partnership Media Reception will take place on the NRA Show Floor on Monday, May 18th at 1:30pm.  At the reception, NRA officers will be attendance with a representative from Healthy Dining, the company and driving force of HealthyDiningFinder.com, and representatives from Chinese Restaurant New along with past winners of the Top 100 Chinese Restaurants Awards.

Chinese Restaurant News names the Top 100 Chinese Restaurants in the U.S.A each year, aiming to set the standards for dining excellence for Chinese restaurants. For the past five years, NRA has been a major supporter of the Top 100 Awards, and gladly endorses the addition of a new Healthy Dining award category be added with the guidelines provided by Healthy Dining and the a formal partnership established between Healthy Dining and CRN.
 
HealthyDiningFinder.com, an initiative of California-based Healthy Dining in collaboration with the NRA, assists customers in finding healthy menu options with corresponding nutrition information at 60,000 restaurants across the country.

Tai San Chef Restaurant in Darien (Chicago suburban) is one of the 40. Following the media conference, CRN & Healthy Dining’s Director of Nutrition will visit the kitchen at Tai San, and host a dinner and cooking demonstration at this Top 100 Chinese Awards winning restaurant. Chef Saito Lee will host a "Teppanyaki" culinary show for guests and serve a buffet including their signature dishes -"General Tso's Chicken, Phad Thai Noodles, and Mongolian Beef among others. Healthy Dining dietician Nicole Quartuccio will be presenting the nutritional facts of some healthy offerings on the menu of Tai San Chef.
